Join us for a Mindful Foraging Walk, just as Spring is starting to bloom.We'll start with a Mindful Walk around the Kinneil Estate in Bo'ness, before moving to pick some wild garlic which we'll use to make some pesto. We'll enjoy this together with home-made oatcakes, hot drinks will also be supplied.
This walk is being jointly held by Susie and Carys.
This will take place on Sunday 23rd March 2-4pm. It's £25 to join us, with a reduced ate of £15 if this is unaffordable. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
Meet Your Facilitators:
Carys Hughes is the director of Nature Connects Perthshire CIC and she has a passion for nature connection and mindfulness, she has a keen interest in health, plants and wellbeing and Carys's passion is to share how nature can bring a wealth of benefits into our lives. Nature can provide us with so many wonderful experiences, we just need to open our hearts to its offerings.
Susie Hooper worked as a Social Worker within Criminal Justice for 20 years, and is passionate about helping people to make difficult changes. Since the beginning of 2017, Susie has been delivering mindfulness within her local community in Falkirk. She co-founded Pause & Breathe CIC with her husband, Phil Blackburn and is delighted to have opened The Place to Pause & Breathe in Bonnybridge and The Place for Martial Arts & Wellbeing in Bo'ness - bringing people together in community.
