Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Refresher Class to Support the Skills and Practices of MBSR teachings.A class every 4-6 weeks at In Balance Yoga CRC Studio
10/16, 11/13, 12/11 at 6:30 PM
Each class will include a sitting meditation and a somatic (body) practice that supports sitting meditation. Somatic practices will include: yoga, qi gong, self acupressure or other somatically oriented resilience practices. We will also build in time for Q&A relative to maintaining a regular meditation practice and/or how these practices/skills relate to stress management and engagement in life whole heartedly and in the present moment..
Pre-requisite: Participation in any 8-week MBSR program or similar program oriented toward developing a regular meditation practice. Please contact Bridget if you have not participated in an MBSR program and would like to come to the class.
