Plan to attend this FREE introduction to our mindfulness programs, presented by LVHN Center for Mindfulness staff.
Mindfulness is an innate human capacity to be fully present in our life with an attitude of curiosity. Mindfulness supports joyfulness, mental clarity and resilience. It helps you bring all your resources to your life without getting caught up in worry or fear. We teach several forms of meditation, all based upon mindfulness, which can be practiced formally by setting aside time in your life to do so. It can also be applied to all your activities from waking up in the morning to going to sleep at night.
In this interactive and experiential two-hour session, you will get a brief overview of what mindfulness is and how it can help you feel better and manage stress.
After attending this introduction, you’ll receive information about how to enroll in the eight-week group program that will be held Thursdays from Sept. 26 to Nov. 14, 6-8:30 p.m.
