Join us for our second community event! Our coffee meet up and clothes swaps are a relaxed and informal affair. Our community is so important to us – we exist to inspire and educate on sustainable clothing – and we know that grabbing a coffee and getting to know one another is a great way to spend a Saturday!
Join us at the brilliant School House Café for the chance to meet like-minded parents (or catch up with mates if there's a bunch of you coming) and potentially gain some new clothes for your little one! School House Café has an amazing play room set up with toys for children (and squishy sofas for adults!).
Feel free to bring kids (or not, if you prefer!) and arrive anytime you like after 10am, grab a hot drink, chill, chat and swap! Just £3 per family – your ticket price includes unlimited tea and coffee.
The Clothes Swap Bit - there's no obligation to bring any clothes along at all! But if you want to clothes swap, here's how it'll work:
If you have any items of children's clothing that you were planning to part ways with for free (i.e. hand down or charity shop), bring them along. There's no minimum number of pieces you need to bring, this is just about passing on an item (or however many items you'd like to bring !) and perhaps gaining one or two in return.
Please only bring clothes in good condition.
Arrive any time from 10:00am onwards.
Hand your items to me. I will lay them out according to size.
The swapping will start at 11:00am - if you see anything you like, feel free to pick up and take home. It would be helpful to limit the number you take to the number you brought in the beginning, but to avoid waste let's try and give everything home. If there are items that are left at the end, these will be donated to charity or you're of course welcome to take your individual items home.
