About this Event
This month's walk will be co-led by KC Young, a UC Environmental Steward, certified California Native Plant Landscaper, and active Field Educator and community scientist with Chaney Trail Corridor Project. She is passionate about making a global change through hyper-local native landscape and environmental advocacy.
Attendees will observe and engage with native plants, practice local plant ID, and discuss ethnobotanical properties. We will also discuss how native plants help sustain local wild animals and contribute to ecosystem health. No equipment is needed, but handheld lenses are helpful. We will have limited equipment available to borrow.
