Mindful walking weekend retreat at The Origins Centre in BalingupThis mindful walking weekend is part of our three-part series on mindfulness and meditation in nature. You can join one or all three weekends.
Join Dharma teacher and Bushland Regenerator Genyen Ian Hackett of Tig-Le House for a weekend exploring mindfulness and mindful walking practices at the Origins Centre. We will walk tracks through bushland on the property and the local area. We use a combination of sitting, walking, and standing postures to help you become more familiar and comfortable with mindfulness techniques.
Through mindful walking, we expand on how to move across Country with the intention of cultivating Refuge and respect for life. We observe and interact with landscape ecologies to understand the relational aspects of the mind, body, and environment, fostering a mindful relationship with the inner and outer nature of experience.
Mindful walking is a dynamic practice that reflects and informs how to approach everyday life, living mindfully.
Whether you choose to stay onsite at the Centre or stay offsite and attend daily, we have flexible booking options to suit many needs and circumstances.
