An opportunity for a mindful moment at the R&A World Golf Museum, with art journaling and relaxed craft opportunities for adults.
Are you looking for a moment of calm in your week? This monthly group is for you.
Join us on the second Sunday of the month for a relaxed craft session for adults (18 years and above). We will begin each session with some mindful breathing, creating a moment of calm for us all, leaving behind the week that has just gone.
Participants will then be encouraged to create an art diary, which will document their month. The goal being that you have a filled diary by the end of the year! Prompts and ideas will be provided.
We would ask that participants bring along their own notebook for this purpose, an unlined or dotted one would be advised. If you don't have this to hand on the day, you will be able to create your own drawings or doodles using the materials we have.
Participants may also bring their own craft projects such as knitting, crotchet or embroidery, to work on during the session. There will also be colouring in sheets to create mindful designs.
These sessions will be charged at £5, to cover the costs of materials and refreshments and limited to 10 people per month.
