Set aside a Saturday afternoon and learn the basics of Swedish Huck Weaving! A traditional Scandinavian embroidery technique, huck weaving transforms simple threads into elegant geometric patterns. Whether you’re an experienced stitcher or picking up a needle for the first time, this class offers a peaceful escape into creativity.
No prior embroidery experience is needed to attend as this class is completely beginner friendly. Each participant will receive a kit from Swedish Weave Designs to use during class and take home with them.
In this class, you will:
• Learn the fundamentals of huck weaving with hands-on guidance
• Create a beautifully patterned hand towel to take home
• Explore the cultural roots of this unique folk art
• Enjoy a relaxing, social crafting session at our historic Landis House

Landis House is at the corner of 4th and Walnut streets. Parking is available at the Weis store parking lot on Walnut Street, and the public entrance to Landis House is around the back of the house.

From Harrisburg, take US-322 W to PA-34 exit. Follow PA-34 S to 4th Street. Turn right on 4th Street. Landis House is located one block ahead on the left.
