About this Event

Join me to hike the lovely Salt Marsh nature trail in Marine Park. We'll hike for 30 minutes, pause for a 5 meditative breathing exercise, sit for 20 minutes of nature journaling, and then hike back out. For the nature journaling session we'll sketch, write, doodle, and/or trace observations of the surrounding nature.

(approx. 1 1/2 hrs total)

  • Supplies are provided but, feel free to bring your own sketchbook or journal
  • Wear layers, comfortable walking shoes, hats &/or sunscreen
  • You will be reimbursed $5 at the event. The fee ensures people cancel if unable to attend.

MEET UP LOCATION:

We will meet at the Salt Marsh Nature Center at 11:30 a.m. (pictured below)where there are restrooms and benches. If you're driving there's a parking lot directly across the street, you'll see kayak rentals in the parking lot. One week prior to the hike I will send more tips/suggestions on getting there.
