Mindful Winter Hikes: Bundle Up and Join Us!
Our Mindful Nature Hikes will continue through the winter months, no matter the weather—whether it’s cold, snowy, or brisk! Unless severe conditions arise, we’ll meet as planned to embrace the beauty of nature in all its forms. Be sure to dress warmly in layers and bring any personal essentials to ensure your comfort. Together, we’ll stay cozy, mindful, and connected to the outdoors, even in the chill of winter.
We’ll start our hike at the "Cotswold Visitor Centre" and take the "Garden Loop Trail" and the "Wetland Loop Trail", covering approximately 2.7 miles. The trail is rated as "easy/moderate" and we will walk at a comfortable pace, enjoying conversation while soaking up the beauty of nature. Periodic breaks will be taken along the way.
The Garden Loop trail is a 1.1-mile paved trail that passes the Legacy Garden. The 1.70 mile Wetland trail passes through a variety of habitats, including forest, wetland and prairie.
Please meet outside the "Cotswold Visitor Centre " where Jessica be wearing a "Mindful Modern Living" shirt. Small entrance fee to the park may be required.
Arrive 5-10 minutes early, we will begin walking promptly at 10:00am. This event will take place rain or shine, so please dress accordingly and bring a water bottle!
