About this Event
Mindful Movement meets Mindful Eating on the second Friday of each month at Layla. This experience starts out with a yoga class by Parker Sloan, Miami-based yoga instructor, who will lead guests through a feel-good flow on the soft grass of Collins Park right across from the restaurant. Guests will then be escorted back to the restaurant to freshen up, and receive a complimentary glass of carefully selected natural wine before joining the exclusive learning and tasting experience by Executive Chef John Iatrellis on the rooftop. Here guests will learn how to make one of Chef’s signature dishes, seeing and feeling each of the ingredients that goes into it, learning about their cultural significance, and being taken through the step-by-step process of how they can make some of Layla’s most delicious plates in their own kitchen. We will also be serving small bites for guests to enjoy during the Chef experience. And if you’re inspired to stay at the restaurant for dinner, a ticket to this event also includes 10% off your meal! (Discount valid only on the night of the event).
Every month will feature a new dish from the Layla menu, one that everyone should have up their sleeve! And yes, you get to taste and enjoy during the class!
