Lovely people!! I'm going to be running art classes aimed at children who are educated outside of a traditional school setting. I welcome a wide span of ages, abilities and educational needs. Having worked as a qualified teacher in a secondary school for 14 years, I am well versed in engaging young people in fun and exciting ways and have worked with a range of special educational needs.Over the term, we will be experimenting with lots of different mediums, including watercolour, acrylic, mixed media, collage, ink, clay and print making. We will explore how making art feels, sounds, smells and looks. There will be an emphasis on process and experimentation rather than finished product, with the aim of building creative confidence, resilience and grit.
