About this Event

Mindful Drawing: Seeing Nature And Yourself Anew

Slow down, observe, and reconnect through a creative mindful drawing workshop inspired by the natural world.

In this 1.5 hr session, participants will be guided to look deeply at objects from nature—leaves, flowers, and other natural forms—using mindful observation and contour drawing techniques. Rather than focusing on “getting it right,” the emphasis is on presence, curiosity, and seeing with fresh eyes.

Alongside creative drawing exercises, we’ll take time for short, reflective journalling, exploring how nature supports and nurtures us in our everyday lives. These quiet reflections offer space to notice what we often overlook in our fast paced busy lives and enable us to carry calmness and awareness beyond the workshop.

For participants aged 16 and up; no previous drawing experience is needed and all levels are welcome. All materials are provided and workshop will be held indoors.

You’ll experience:

  • Guided body scan meditation
  • Guided mindful drawing exercises that you can use for your daily self care
  • Contour drawing inspired by natural objects
  • Short journalling prompts for reflection
  • A calm, supportive, and creative environment

Come as you are, and leave feeling more grounded, attentive, and creatively refreshed.
