Susie from Pause & Breathe CIC is teaming up with Alex from Albatross Arts CIC for a retreat that brings together creativity and mindfulness.
We’ll be gathering inspiration from the beautiful Isle of Mull for our creative activities, using natural resources for play and creativity. We’ll share some mindful practices which will help us to reflect inwardly, inspiring and guiding our imagination.
There will be daytrips to make the most of our inspiring location, including a day on Iona and trips to local beaches. There will also be the option of swimming in the sea for those who would like to.
Our location is stunning - overlooking Loch Assapol, it’s so quiet and peaceful that it’s the perfect place to switch off and unwind.
We will be staying in two connecting cottages on Saorphin Farm, on the Ross of Mull – the southwestern part of the island. The cottages are peaceful – overlooking Loch Assapol, our closest neighbours are sheep and deer. We can walk to a local beach from the farm, and it’s usually deserted.
The retreat runs from Sunday 27th April, until Friday 2nd May 2025. Arrival is from 3pm onwards, and the retreat ends at 11am. Retreatants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the cottage, although if you are arriving by public transport, we can arrange to pick you up and drop you off at the ferry port on Mull for a small additional charge.
Please note that it's not possible to bring pets on retreat.
The cost of the retreat varies, depending on the room you choose to stay in. For one person in a shared room, the price is £995 per person. A single supplement is £1245. There are also some rooms with double beds, for two people booking a double room it's £1790. This includes full board accommodation for six nights, and all teaching sessions.
