In the fast-paced demands so much of our time and energy it’s more important than ever to find ways to slow down and tune in with ourselves. It’s so easy to get overstimulated when we’re constantly being overloaded with the news of current events, balancing work and relationships, and trying to keep our heads above water. It’s no surprise that more folks are turning to mindfulness to help them stay grounded and manage their stress levels.

Mindfulness through artistic expression can

• Decrease mental and physical symptoms of anxiety and stress
• Enhance your mood state
• Increase your visual observation and attention skills
• Help you enter a state of flow state- Falling into a state of deep concentration and attention for an extended period.

This month’s artistic expression activity will be coloring! Join your self-care facilitator, Danielle Branche-Brown, for an hour of artistic mindfulness while embracing the feel and sounds of nature. During this hour, you’ll learn about the benefits of practicing mindfulness and artistic expression for stress relief and engage in free-flowing conversations with an engaging and supportive community.
