This workshop will be part of the Northern Beaches Creative Open.
We will work with the water element by opening the workshop with a creativity meditation, then learning some watercolour techniques and creating a unique whale to take home. In my Mindful art workshops, we blend the benefits of Mindfulness practices with the Creative expression of Art. You will learn how to draw and paint a whale and experience the benefits of meditation and art.
My classes and workshops are designed to provide a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your inner world, cultivate mindfulness, and reconnect with your creativity while creating in community. You'll be guided through mindfulness exercises and meditations to bring your awareness to the present moment. This grounding practice helps to quiet the mind and to learn watercolour and drawing skills as a journey more than a result. By being fully present in the creative process, the invitation is to find awareness of your thoughts and embark on a self discovery journey by allowing your artistic instincts to flow freely. In every class we will work with a different theme that will help you navigate your inner journey.
Open your creative channels and learn to create with mindful art techniques. It is a safe space to create, practise mindfulness and learn to paint with watercolours. Learn mindful art techniques and take home a piece that will help you stay creative and connect with yourself.
