About this Event
MindFood run a free 6 week ‘Growing Wellbeing’ course aimed at supporting people who are experiencing stress, anxiety or a low mood to improve their wellbeing. The free 6 week course is designed to be a fun balance of learning how to grow a wide range of fruit and vegetables whilst becoming more mindful of ways to proactively manage our wellbeing.
The course is action orientated so each week we’ll discuss and commit to a specific action that will help improve our wellbeing between each session and ongoing after the course. The sixth week includes a free trip to Kew Gardens for a mindful walk and each week you'll get to take home some vegetables you've helped to grow to cook with.
Over the 6 weeks we will discuss, explore and practice:
Self Reflection, Mindfulness, Planning Wellbeing, How food effects our mood and the 5 ways to wellbeing
Since coming to MindFood, Growing Wellbeing participants agreed or strongly agreed that:
