Join us for the second edition of our new night of art and conversation at Babel Art House
This is an intimate and inclusive space for anyone who’d like to share new work or work in progress.
The event will consist of open mic slots and discussion prompts: your time on stage will include one performance of your choice as well as a short Q&A with the audience. We’ll also have several discussion prompts to inspire deeper conversation and reflection after each performance.
🎤 This is a space to test new material. Bring your poetry drafts, new music, monolgues or simply share an idea you have with the audience. You’ll get a chance to hear what resonates, the lines that felt most memorable and how your work made them feel.
🎤 Each performer will have 10-15min on stage so we can dig deeper into either the piece itself or the topic of your art.
🎤 This space is for you if you enjoy deeper conversations and musings inspired by creative work.
🎤 We want to keep this space cozy and intimate, so there are only 10 available tickets for this event (and 7 performer slots).
The event will be co-hosted and facilitated by:
• Anna Sinski: psychotherapist, poet and Mind Over Matter Director
• Beyond Oz: musician, singer and host of Babel Open Mic
