About this Event
On this day retreat, Prajnaketu will be guiding us through how we can navigate a digital life with wisdom, refering to his book, Cyberloka. This day is useful for anyone who spends time online, whether that's writing emails for your job, or if you can't keep off TikTok!
Our minds and digital technology co-create a world of experience, with its own particular pleasures, pains, opportunities, and traps: the cyberloka. Cyberloka: a Buddhist guide to Digital Life offers a wealth of insights that help us manage and flourish in the face of the hyperavailability, superstimulation, and social media of the digital age. In this day retreat we'll explore - through meditation, talks, discussion, and ritual, our own relationship to digital technology and how to bring a Buddhist perspective to bear on it.
Whilst this day retreat looks at a digital life through the lense of Buddhism, you do not need any prior knowledge or experience of Buddhism to attend, this event is open to all. The day will begin at 10:30am and will end at 4:30pm.
Booking is essential and please bring a vegan dish for a shared lunch.
Bursary spaces are available, please contact Georgia on: [email protected].
