About this Event
These monthly evenings which will include meditation, mantras, music, yogic/tantric philosophy and other traditions, story, humor, and group discussion–all in a safe, and enjoyable space.
These evenings are on a drop-in basis and also are an informal chance to connect with likeminded people who want inspiration and connection. (And even if you are a little on the introverted side, you can relax, listen, write and moderate your social participation as you like!)
Here at Kollectiv, Thomas, who has taught thousands in the Americas, Asia and Europe, will be offering potent evenings to explore the ancient art of vocal sound and mantra meditation for healing, empowerment, and awakening. Even if you are new to mantra, you can come to any of these evenings and experience the lasting effects. No previous experience necessary.
Thomas Amelio intensely studied yogic disciplines in India, where he edited Rajarshi Muni’s classic, "Yoga–The Ultimate Spiritual Path." He is a founding member of, and has been a senior teacher at, Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health for over 30 years, is President Emeritus of the NY Open Center in New York City, where he co-founded the popular Integrative Sound and Music Certification Program 15 years ago.
