Learning Outcomes

1. Identify when depression is treatment-resistant and when neurostimulation therapy, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), or specialised day programs may be appropriate.
2. Identify the unique mental health challenges faced during the perinatal period, including risk factors for anxiety, depression, and other conditions.
3. Differentiate between age-related changes and mental health disorders, determining when escalation of care is necessary, including referrals to specialised services and support programs.
4. Identify patients presenting with anxiety disorders, differentiating them from normal emotional responses, and seek recommend effective intervention strategies from a panel of subject matter experts.
