Thursday, January 30th. Coming from Montreal, Melina Mistral pierced the international and festival/marathon stage first in the USA, to eventually expand out to Europe. Her experience and versatility as a social dancer in both roles, as well as a professional teacher and performer, have made her very sensitive to the dancers' energy. She believes in a balance of fun, sweet, power & drama, keeping in mind the venue, the event, the time of day and the dancers. Our DJ Sara La Rocca is well-known in New York City and Washington, DC as a long-time organizer of the legendary All-night Milonga, and recently the Milonga Volver. She also excels at selecting and playing her tango tunes to keep up the dancers' mood and inspire them to dance.7:00 pm: All levels lesson with Melina Mistral.�
