Please welcome the renowned international dancers Carlita Domínguez and Jesús Taborda, who will be teaching a pre-milonga workshop and offering a performance during our milonga! Come to the Centro to enjoy the elegant selections of DJ Quetzal, curating the best danceable tango music! We will have some special treats, wine, a great dance floor, and the company of good friends!The pre-milonga workshop with 2024 Tango Mundial Stage bronze medalists Carla Domínguez & Jesús Taborda will begin at 7:30 pm, covering the topic of "The Art of Dialogue.
Action and reaction as tools to shift energy, speed, and mood in the embrace." The floor opens for dancing at 9:00 pm.
Carla Domínguez and Jesús Taborda are acclaimed tango dancers, teachers, and choreographers with exceptional international careers. Carla, transitioning from musical theatre to tango at 17, has performed with renowned companies like Social Tango Project and Tango Fire. Jesús, starting his artistic journey at 9, has showcased his precision and creativity in productions like Piazzolla Tango, achieving multiple podium finishes in the Tango World Championship, including third place in Tango Escenario in 2024 with Carla.
Together, as dynamic partners and integral members of Social Tango Project, they captivate audiences worldwide, blending tradition with innovation, and inspiring new generations through their dedication to Argentine tango.

Milonga: $20 ($15 for our friends south of the border)
Class and Milonga: $40 ($35 for our friends south of the border).
Milonga Recuerdo is traditionally held on the first and third Mondays of the month, honoring and remembering the germinal song by Osvaldo Pugliese, with arrangements by Julio de Caro, that opened up a line of exploration in tango.
