PLEASE NOTE: that event timings are as per the cover photo (whatever Facebook says!)This month we are absolutely thrilled and hugely privileged to welcome back the one and only Andres 'Tanguito' Cejas for his first visit to us in 8 years.
For many, he will need no introduction but for those less familiar with his work, Andres 'Tanguito' Cejas is a very highly regarded and popular milonguero and maestro in Buenos Aires and internationally. Together with his wife Genoveva he runs the very popular practica 'De Querusa' in Buenos Aires. They have worked with the some of the best known orchestras, among which that of master Mariano Mores, Sexteto Mayor, Berlinghieri-Baffa, Raúl Garello, José Colangelo, Sexteto sur and others. He has sat as a member of the Grand Jury of the Tango Mundial in Buenos Aires, and has also been awared the prestigious 'Maria Ruanova' Diploma Hororis Causa as Master of Tango for his contribtuon to Tango.
His work extends for over 28years, focused to maintain the authentic Tango de Salón style of his home city. His Tango upholds the purest form of social dance, the classic lineage of Villa Urquiza style, absorbed at source from the great milongueros, like Portalea, Petaca El Chino Perico not to mention the legendary Osvaldo Zotto, of whom Tanguito is the first and only follower, and who was a key component in the development of his Tango. Tanguito has taught throughout the world. His self critical and exhaustive technical training make him amongst the most accomplished and grounded teachers.
PRE - MILONGA WORKSHOP 4.30PM - 6PM
Andres will teach a pre milonga technique based workshop.
He will also be available for private lessons on Sunday 24th November.
Given Andres' standing and popularity and the fact that this will be his only date in the North of England (as far as I'm aware) I would recommend booking in advance if you can. If you wish to secure a workshop place or book a private lesson contact me on 07989734632. Payment can be made in person on the day. As with previous workshops it may be possible to turn up on the day but this will depend on the number of advance bookings we get so we will advise on whether there are places left nearer the time. As ever, no need to book for the Milonga - just turn up.

☺️We are more than happy for other organizers to bring flyers and promote their events at our milonga, so long as you check first that they don't clash with any of our own events. We also have
