GUIDELINES **Please Read**
1. Check in at our check in station before entering the ballroom. (If no one is sitting there find your hosts).
2. Please make payment with ZELLE or CASH or Venmo $25
3. Please bring your own water/drink bottle to minimize the use of cups and the heavy lugging around of water for us and please avoid cups filled with liquid on the floor to avoid extra spills.
4. If you enjoy snacks, please take your snack mess and throw it away in the garbage can before leaving La Guapa.
5. If you are enjoying sitting at a table please clear your mess by taking it with you when you leave.
6. Do not throw cups filled with water in the garbage but do take your cups to the designated red-cup tray on food table on the way out.
7. Be mindful of your fellow dancers to avoid collision. Follow the line of dance, please stay in your line and don’t pass the couple in front of you. If need be, switch lanes with caution.
8. Move off the outside lanes to the center of the floor if you want to avoid traffic or perhaps feel overwhelmed.
9. No aerials, deep lunges some dips but no drops Safety first!
10. CABECEO is greatly appreciated and encouraged.
11. No stalking, groping or disrespecting the boundaries of the embrace unless absolute mutual consent is involved.
12. Absolutely NO TALCUM/BABY POWDER in the ballroom including corners of the floor or by your seat.
13. Please WASH YOUR HANDS after using the restroom and smell delicious! Proper hygiene is essential!
PARKING
1. Soho Dance offers parking in their 20-space subterranean garage for a $5 flat fee. The garage entrance is on the right-hand side of the studio gates, so slow down when you drive down Cotner, approaching us.The entrance is a single-lane, multi-use entrance, so use caution when entering/exiting. Entering traffic has the right-of way, but pedestrians always take precedent. So drive slowly and be alert!
2. The spaces to the right of the studio (in front of Western Electric Supply) are free to use in the evenings, anytime after 5pm.
3. Street parking is the option most people take when they come to the studio. Offering 300 unregulated spaces after 6:00pm, walking distance of the studio.
