Milo Edwards is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian and podcaster from Essex, and he's bringing his new show Sentimental to Dundee. He was a member of the Cambridge Footlights and a student comic before moving to Moscow in 2015, where he became TV performer on the stand-up shows Open Microphone and StandUp on the TNT network.
Since 2018 Milo has been based in London and become a rising star of the UK stand-up scene. His 2019 Edinburgh Fringe show Pindos (about his time as a comedian in Russia) receiving five-star reviews and the Scotsgay Comedy Award, later being released as a YouTube special in 2023.
His second Edinburgh Fringe hour Voicemail was critically-acclaimed and had a close to sold-out run at the festival in 2022. It was nominated for Best Show at Leicester Comedy Festival and transferred to a UK tour and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2023.
Sentimental, Milo’s third Edinburgh Festival hour, was his most highly reviewed yet and was nominated for multiple awards at the Fringe. It is transferring to a UK tour and the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 2024.
Milo is a host of the popular political comedy podcast Trashfuture, which has around 45,000 listeners and has featured guests such as Rob Delaney, Mark Watson, Owen Jones, Franz Ferdinand (not the archduke) and Josie Long. He also hosts the podcast Masters of Our Domain with Phoebe Roy, and formerly hosted the Russian podcast TooMuch (Тумач).

He has written for Mock The Week (BBC2), Hello America (Quibi), Breaking The News (BBC Scotland) and The News Quiz (BBC R4) and his writing has also appeared in Private Eye and The New Statesman.
About Sentimental:
Milo is a 30-year-old orphan but why does that matter? In the bigger picture it’s probably a small matter. Still, he’s sentimental about it, and a few other things, despite what people might tell you… ‘A lack of sentimentality’ - Chortle
Fresh from a sell-out 5 star run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, racking up the NextUp nomination for Best Show, Milo is now taking Sentimental on a UK tour.

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
• Tickets can be refunded or exchanged no less than 24 hours before the show.
• Line-ups can be subject to change at short notice.
• Doors open at 7pm, one hour before the start time of 8pm. Please arrive before the show starts but not before 7pm. Attendees who arrive late will not be granted admission or a refund.
• This is NOT a standing event. All audience members must be seated while the performance is underway, unless ordering at the bar or using the toilets. When ordering at the bar, please whisper.
• Entrance and exit is via the side door only; please wait outside at the door for ticket check and to be seated by the doorman.
• You will probably have to share a table. You may not be able to sit together if the remaining chairs available are spread out. If you are particular about seating we recommend arriving as early as possible.
• Seats in the front half of the room must be filled before seating in the back half is allocated.
• Seating in the alcove at the back is reserved for the comedians and their guests only.
• Don’t talk or heckle during the performances. This rule is NOT optional. It is very distracting for both the performer and other audience members. Some performers (usually the host) might talk to the audience, but otherwise please let the comedians do the talking. Heckling does not ‘help the show’. Think of it like cinema rules: laughter, cheers, applause are all great, but talking or yelling out is not. And another cinema rule…
• Please put your phone on silent. Photos are fine but please no video or flash photography.
• If your chair is not facing the stage when you come in, please rotate it when the show starts.
• These shows are for people aged 18 and over. Due to licencing 17 year olds can attend accompanied by a parent or guardian, but we cannot allow entry to those aged 16 and under, accompanied or not. You may be asked to show ID if you do not look of age.
• Comedy Dundee does not necessarily agree or disagree with the opinions and viewpoints expressed by the comedians. Acts are booked based on their ability to make people laugh, beyond that we respect freedom of expression. If you disagree or are offended by what you hear, you are free to express this by not laughing, by leaving, or by respectfully raising your objections with the act after the show or via social media. You may not interrupt an on-going performance.
• Audience members who repeatedly break these rules will be asked to leave.
