Presenter- Doug Fraits is a resident of Ross Township, Ohio. A retired Engineer, he has been restoring the Cochran Homestead in Millville for the past 22 years. The Cochran family owned and operated the Grist Mill in Millville. Doug is currently the President of the Board for the Butler County Historical society.Program Description- Doug will present with pictures the History of the Cochran (Millville) Grist Mill, built in1805. This early mill was operational for over 100 years. The Mill was built on Indian Creek downstream from Reily and served the farmers and distilleries in the area.
