The band's name already suggests it: these lads hail straight from the heart of St. Pauli, playing Irish Folk and Rebel songs.Just like Hamburg’s most famous district, their lyrics – a mix of covers and original songs – are political, defiant, and full of resistance.
With traditional acoustic folk instruments, they create a distinctive sound that has been winning over a growing fanbase for the past 20 years – especially in Germany, Ireland, and Scotland.
“As a German Irish Folk band, being able to play in Ireland and Scotland multiple times is nothing short of a knighthood, and we’re truly grateful for that experience,” says Niclas, the band’s singer.
Fun is always at the centre of it all – whether they’re playing in small pubs or on bigger stages in front of hundreds of people.
This night at the Irish Rover promises to be something truly special – full of energy, singalongs, and the raw spirit of St. Pauli. Get ready for a wild, unforgettable evening of rebel songs, laughter, and craic!
