Union Township is honoring our nation’s veterans and active military with a multi-day Military Tribute Event this fall, featuring the Traveling Vietnam Wall and Cost of Freedom Tribute at Veterans Memorial Park. The Traveling Vietnam Wall as well as Afghanistan & Iraq Warrior Tribute, 9/11 Tribute, 1914-1968 (World War l, World War ll, Korean War, Vietnam War, Cold War, USS Pueblo), 1979-1989 (Iran Hostage, El Salvador War, USMC Beirut, Grenada Invasion, Libya Air Attack, USS Stark Attack, Panama Invasion), and 1990-2012 (Desert Storm/Shield, Somalia, Khobar Towers Bomb, USS Cole Attack, Fort Hood Attack, Benghazi, PTSD) will be on display Thursday, October 9, 2025 through Sunday, October 12, 2025.The Union Township Board of Trustees invite you to join the Township in recognizing the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes by visiting the displays at Veterans Memorial Park and attending the activities that help make this a truly special event.
