Military Market Event to Feed Military Families During Government Shutdown

The Veteran Success Resource Group VSRG, in partnership with Paisano’s With A Purpose, Great American Community Kitchen, Anita's and Victor 12 Inc, is mobilizing an emergency Military Families Food Market to support service members, veterans, and their families impacted by the ongoing federal government shutdown.

There will also be multiple VSO's will be on site to assist with resources for all attending.

The next market will take place on Saturday November 15 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Paisano’s Pizza Lorton location 9429 Lorton Market Street Lorton VA 22079 in Lorton Marketplace.

This community relief effort will feature:
• Hot pizza served by the Paisano’s With A Purpose Food Truck
• Freshly prepared chicken vegetable and pasta meals donated by Great American Community Kitchen the 501c3 philanthropic affiliate of Great American Restaurants

• Incredible Burritos from Anita's
• Grocery gift cards generously donated by Cecil Pruitt , Victor 12 Inc a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and many more supporters.
• Canned goods and non perishable staples

• Diapers/Wipes also will be given away for free.

The goal is to allow military families to shop the market for free, enjoy hot meals from the Paisano’s With A Purpose food truck or inside the store, and take home additional meals provided by Great American Community Kitchen, Anitas and more to feed their families.

Our goal is simple to make sure military families do not go hungry while the shutdown continues said Insert spokesperson name Insert title of Veteran Success Resource Group. With the help of our partners and supporters we are rallying the community to stand with those who serve and ensure they have the food and care they need.
