We’re extending the weekend once again with a heartfelt night of live music, storytelling, and community connection. This month’s event also includes a meaningful opportunity to give back through our Downtown Purple Pantry Box Food Drive. Whether you’re a performer or just here to enjoy the atmosphere, all are welcome—friends, families, and first-time guests.
Milford Open Mic happens every 3rd Monday of the month, creating a consistent space to gather, listen, and celebrate the creative voices of our community.
14 Artists. One Night. Endless Variety.
Think of it as speed dating for local creativity. We showcase 14 performers, each sharing two songs or 10 minutes—whichever comes first. The evening is a blend of music, poetry, storytelling, and comedy in a welcoming and family-friendly space.
Featured Artist – John Maggi (7:00 PM)
John Maggi has been playing music for years, and his seasoned style reflects that. With a soft voice that cuts through the noise, John draws the audience in, keeping people leaning forward, listening closely. Sometimes, you’ll find yourself quietly mesmerized. Other times, you’ll be singing along without even realizing it.
Special Night – Downtown Purple Pantry Box Food Drive
Thanks to Jessica K for connecting us with the Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church in Downtown Milford, we’re supporting their public food pantry box this month. Bring donations from the list below and help stock a vital community resource.
- Shelf-Stable Items to Donate:
- Box and canned pasta
- Tomato sauce
- Canned tuna or other protein
- Shelf-stable milk
- Bottled water
- Protein shakes and bars
- Canned fruit, vegetables, and beans
- Peanut butter
- Soup
- Cereal
- Nuts and snack packs (chips, trail mix, granola bars, etc.)
- Toilet paper
- Hygiene items
Raffle Bonus
For every two pantry items you bring, you'll receive one additional raffle ticket. And remember, everyone gets one just for showing up and another ticket if you wear you Milford Open Mic T-shirt.
Raffle Giveaways at 8:30 PM – must be present to win.

We welcome all types of performers to share their talents.
Sign-ups open at 9:00 AM the day after each event at www.milfordopenmic.com.
