A songwriter and guitar player in the psychedelic tradition, Miles evokes a wide array of complementary
sounds in his varied work. Influenced heavily by the likes of Paul Kantner, Gram Parsons, Kurt Vile, and
George Clinton (while occasionally being corrupted by the likes of Rodney Crowell), he strives to create
music that captures the absurdity and wonder of life as we know it, and all of the confusion and joy that
goes along with it. Onetime frontman of the Eugene, Oregon rock band NAKED, (appearing on the album
It was Good; It was Great), he is eager to perform new and old songs in an intimate acoustic format, and
resume actively making music after a lengthy time away from the stage.
Yuvy is a solo artist raised in the Bay Area who recently moved to San Francisco to play music and make art. Known by some as a poet and others a musician, Yuvy finds his truest self behind an electric guitar and a reverb tone. His music is influenced by local musicians here in the Bay Area such as Carpool Tunnel, The Moondrops and Mint as well as prominent solo artists Courtney Barnett, Stella Donnelly and Faye Webster. Come on by for a groovy Yuvy set!
