The live, in-person event will be held on Saturday December 11th at 9am, at Oleta River State Park. We are focused on raising awareness that migraine is not “just a headache”. Migraine is a serious neurological disease that can have debilitating effects on those that have it, as well as their family and friends. More people have migraine in the U.S. than asthma and diabetes combined, yet it is severely underfunded.
Not feeling well enough to walk or run? We still want you to participate in the exercise-free portion of the event and complete a Relax self-care activity.
Miles for Migraine is dedicated to raising awareness and funding for migraine as well as other headache disorders. All funds raised will benefit the University of Miami Headache Center to support local migraine research and fellowship training programs.
