Cary Fridley is an singer, bassist, and educator from Asheville, N.C. Over her 20-plus year career, her music has evolved to embrace all styles of traditional country, blues, folk, and jazz. She is a published songwriter, recording artist, and bandleader, singing and performing in western North Carolina since 1992.Bayla Davis, still in her teens, has already received acclaim for her clawhammer banjo playing. She is a two-time recipient of the IBMA Fletcher Bright Memorial Scholarship to Béla Fleck’s Blue Ridge Banjo Camp where she was also selected to perform before the entire assemblage.
