About this Event
Calling all bicycling enthusiasts! Local author Robert Isenberg joins us to talk about his recent book Mile Markers: Essays on Cycling, a treasure-trove of reportage and personal writing from a life on two wheels. This collection of previously published pieces covers such diverse topics as penny-farthing adventurers, airless tires, and paratroopers on mountain bikes.
Robert Isenberg is a writer and multimedia producer based in Cranston. His past books include The Archipelago: A Balkan Passage, the poetry collection Wander, and The Green Season, an essay collection about his two years working as a journalist in Costa Rica. Robert moved to the Ocean State in 2018, and he has served as staff writer for Providence Monthly and chief videographer for the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island.
