Attention Bangla schools, families that include members with Bengali backgrounds, and anyone interested in multilingual communities in the US:Join us at the Milan Mela 2025, supported in part by the South Asia Center at the University of Pennsylvania, as we showcase Bangla as a heritage language, with Bangla school student performances and brief presentations from teachers about the challenges they face working with kids who aren't in a Bengali-speaking setting 24/7.
This event, presented by the Sopan and Pathshala Bangla Schools in Pennsylvania and Delaware, will feature activities, a book stall, and kids theatrical performances.
We'll see you on Saturday, December 13th from 12:30-5:30pm in the main event hall on the first floor.

If you're hungry, you can buy delicious veg food at the canteen inside the temple.
