Texas born and raised, Mike more recently adopted Santa Cruz as his primary base of operations. His cerebral and introspective songwriting boldly explores all aspects of the human condition, with a not-so-subtle nod to the downtrodden. Mike playfully roasts performative masculinity, the mainstream corporate country music machine, and delves into other light hearted themes while keeping listeners tapping their toes and singing along. His debut album “Trials and Triumphs” was enthusiastically received on independent americana radio — including our own KPIG — a follow up album is in the works for early 2026.
No cover, tips appreciated. Top 40 requests will be haphazardly attempted and duly butchered. Beware.
