Bio:
Mike Froh & The Bad News are a genre-defying band featuring the lead singer of The Holly Springs Disaster on vocals and songwriting, Matt Reed on drums, Riley Agopsowicz and Danton Moorhead on guitars, and Mike Palynchuk on bass. Based out of Regina, Saskatchewan, a city known more for its football team than its music scene, they feel no boundaries when it comes to heavy music. With a blend of catchy hooks and metalcore breakdowns with unconventional acoustic guitar riffs and electronic atmospheres, why not add the occasional steel guitar? Their debut EP “Hate Me” introduces what bad news can truly encompass. Through this distinctive DIY, self-produced approach, they are quickly becoming a driving force in the evolving hardcore punk scene, embodying their own form of prairie rebellion.
