Mirrors is coming to Chop Shop with ClubDrugs, Panda Riot & Billy Joel Jr. Brian McSweeney and Shawn Rios met on a plane 22 years ago. They formed Chicago's MIIRRORS, prioritizing album creation over live performances. Dmitri Rakhuba, Andre Miller, and Patrick Riley joined the band, and they quickly evolved their sound in the tracking room.
Their debut album, Motion And Picture (Pravda Records), is a cinematic soundscape of honest lyrical introspection and reactive abrasion. The songs blur the sonic lines between synthesizers and guitars, much like My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive.
