Since then, Miguel de Armas has been an integral part of Ottawa’s musical landscape, spearheading a Latin Jazz Quartet that pulses with vibrant rhythms and captivating harmonies. Through their performances and collaborative ventures with local talents, either his trio or his quartet has woven a distinct and enchanting sonic tapestry within Ottawa’s music scene, elevating the appreciation for Cuban musical heritage while nurturing the tradition of Cuban-Canadian musical fusion.
