In 2023, after 14 years on and off in the making, Miguel released his first solo album, the 3.5 hour, 52 track ‘Les Jardins Mystiques Vol. 1’ (The Mystical Gardens), which Downbeat Magazine gave a 5 out of 5 star review and the famed British newspaper The Guardian named #1 Contemporary Album of the Year and labeled ‘a masterpiece’.

The Jazz Bakery is proud and excited to announce the launch of a special concert series on the east side of Los Angeles, presented at the beautiful and intimate Motivo LA in Atwater Village! The monthly six-concert series, curated by Daniel Rotem, will feature Los Angeles based artists, all creative forces to be reckoned with in the vibrant local music scene, performing boundary-pushing music that transcends the idioms of genre.
