Migrant Worker has gained a steady following playing in various forms since 2012. Their sound blurs the lines between Country, Folk, Rock, and Jam with a focus on the Song. The band is the brainchild of local producer/musician Josh Thane along with a stellar cast of Atlanta musicians. In 2020 Migrant Worker self released their highly awaited debut album. They have shared the stage with such legendary acts as Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives, Col. Bruce Hampton, Cody Dickenson (North Mississippi All Stars), Todd Nance (Widespread Panic), Johnny Fritze, Geoff Achison, Travis Book (Infamous Stringdusters) and a number of others. In 2018 they played the annual Sweetwater 420 fest alongside The Tedeschi Trucks Band, Sturgill Simpson and many others. Migrant Worker is a band which pays tribute to the past while looking forward.
