It is highly recommended that liaisons attend this training prior to the start of the school year to ensure they are well-informed about federal requirements, available resources, and practical tools essential for serving migratory students effectively. Even if you don’t believe your school currently serves migratory students, attending is still strongly encouraged—students often move between districts, and being prepared ensures no student falls through the cracks.
