3rd Annual!! I am getting excited about my "Mom Walk" on May 19 at Timber Ridge!! (It's actually called the Wine Walk, but I will always see it as my Mom's Walk in my heart!)I hope you will come and have wine and food and hike in the trees with us and remember your loved ones in the healing world of nature! While this is a fundraiser for breast health, I welcome all to come! This is an event for women, but we are walking for moms, dad, grannies and grandpas, etc.
At the start of the event, there will be an opening ceremony where I will read the "Pieces of our Heart" List - so when you register, be sure to include one name! So far, people who have registered are walking for those they have lost to other cancers, dementia, illness, age and also - someone is walking for her beloved dog!
HOWEVER! I want you to know this will be a F-U-N event. We will have music, prizes, laughter, ice cream, wine and food. Hello!!! It's the perfect party in the woods and we will share the happy memories together. I have wanted to do this for my mom for 16 years and it's finally happening. MY heart is FULL!! ❤️
Please, join us. It's from 11am-1pm on May 19, 2024. The walk is 1 mile. There will be 3 wineries, 2 food vendors, music and more!
Last year we had 185 women and raised $2k for Smith Family Breast Health Center. I hope we can beat that this year!!
