Novita’s Mighty River Run is launching for 2025… and we want you to be part of it! Join us on the riverbank from 10.30am on Wednesday 16 April at Sturt Reserve to kickstart this year’s River Run campaign! We’ll have accessible games and activities for clients of all ages, as well wheelchair football for guests to play, and giveaways from sponsors such as Nippy’s and Vili’s. You’ll also be able to meet our River Run ambassadors Les Burdett, John Riddell, and Matt Robran, and meet some of our fundraising crews who will be working to support Novita throughout the year.
The Mighty River Run is Novita’s major fundraising event, and is celebrating it’s 18th year on the water this November. Founded by John Riddell, Jason “Snowy” Carter and Russell Ebert in 2007, the Run has raised close to $7 million for Novita over the past 19 years. Crews raise a minimum of $6,000 in the lead up to the event, where they will spend 5 nights on the water, cruising from Berri to the Bend from the 9th til the 14th of November.
