7-9 pmThe Snow covering the land symbolizes Mother earth's time of rest. Which allows time to reflect as well as prepare. The snow itself represents a clean slate, signifying a chance to start fresh and renewal as spring approaches and days become longer.
For the Oneida Nation, the Snow Moon, which occurs in February, is a significant time for reflection, rest, and renewal, signifying a period when Mother Earth is resting under the snow cover, preparing for the coming spring and representing a time to "heal, relax, and get ready for the new year" by giving thanks to Mother Earth .
With the beauty of what this earth invites at this time of year . I invite all participants to gather any outdoor goodies to add to your art project 🐾🐢❄️
You guessed it for this special Full moon we have a special guest facilitator. Oneida artist Andrea Baird Combining Art and healing ✨️ 💕 💖 💓 🐢
After we share we will be guided into a beautiful art practice during this time I will walk around helping shed and move any stagnant energy with music, vibration thru drumming with bear medicine and use of the pendulum. I will have some Bear fat available for extra nurturing to rub on the womb or ❤️.
Overall, the Women's Circle during the Full Snow Moon or Midwinter moon is a time for introspection, connection, and the celebration of femininity, community, and the natural world.
I also wanna add the excitement of working with animal spirits . As women , we use that basic animal instincts often . What is your animal doing in nature right now??
Mine she hibernates🐾🐾🐾 no longer guarding her cave but resting in it.
I will be providing a seers tea to enhance our feminine experience thru creativity!
