Midwinter marks the first stirring of new life beneath the surface, symbolizing spiritual renewal, purification, and the quiet beginnings of change.
Imbolc sits halfway between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, honoring the very first signs of returning light and life, even while the land still looks wintry. Spiritually, it encourages you to plant the “seeds” of new intentions, ideas, and paths for the year a head.
The Midwinter Sound Bath Meditation and Ceremony with start with a Candle Ritual and crafting your very own Brigid Cross out of rushes. To honor Imbolc, historically, families wove crosses from straw or rushes on the evening of January 31 and hung them over doors & windows for protection and good fortune in the coming year.
After we are finished crafting our crosses I will lead you all on a magical Sound Bath Meditation surrounding the energy of the season. For this event I have decided to add Reiki Healing during the Sound Bath Meditation which is reflected in the price of this event.
