The annual WisPolitics-State Affairs Midwest Polling Summit explores the 2026 battle for the rural vote and how that may effect key elections next year for governor, the state Legislature and Congress.
Ryan Tyson, an expert on the Trump voter who has worked for conservative groups, will provide the national landscape. Charles Franklin, poll director of the nonpartisan Marquette University Law School poll, will provide the Wisconsin landscape.
And then the two will join a moderated panel discussion with: public relations consultant and author of "Land Rich, Cash Poor'' Brian Reisinger, and former congressional candidate and state Rep. Katrina Shankland, D-Stevens Point, now executive director of Rust Belt Rising.
Check-in and lunch begins at 11 a.m. with the program going from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
