We are having our first Midweek Mashup of the year taking place at The Bell in Pokesdown on Wednesday 14th January and we will be testing out Mashup on a big stage for the first time.Midweek Mashup is a midweek social to break up the week, have a drink and a dance whilst supporting local venues. We have an impressive roster of 11 DJs for this Mashup playing 20 minute mini-sets bringing you the latest house, tech house, progressive and trance music with the music developing through the night.
This is an opportunity for DJs to try out new tunes, play styles they might not normally do and get together with everyone else to have a bit of a respite from the week.
If you’re on Dry January don’t worry - there are plenty of non-alcoholic drinks available and not everyone that comes drinks alcohol. This is about mixing with friendly people and enjoying great music.
We’ve got a full roster of DJs for this event so no guest slots are available this time but if you’d like the chance to play in future please make sure you come and support, and check it out.
Midweek Mashup is an informal get together rather than a full on rave but we will be testing out the new stage layout, sound and lighting ahead of our end of January House of Trance event which we are very excited about.
There is free on road car parking near The Bell and there is also a paid carpark just around the corner on Seabourne Road (below the Dolphin Mews building). The Bell is also directly opposite Pokesdown station making it very easy to get to by train.
