A curated selection of works will be on view, showcasing Dalli’s signature styles: his iconic large-scale nudes, expressive watercolours including studies created during short-pose life sessions, his stylised landscapes, and his latest body of work merging both the human form and the landscape into a single visual language.
Patrick Dalli (b. 1955) is renowned for his tactile, large-scale nude paintings. His artistic journey began at a young age, developing through an informal, self-taught process.
In 1995 he began receiving academic training, focusing primarily on the human form, a turning point that solidified his commitment to studying the nude through observation and life drawing. This practice became central to his studio work.
More recently, Dalli has ventured into a new artistic direction, exploring stylised landscapes. This evolving theme has now developed into a compelling series in which the human body and the landscape intertwine, each shaping and echoing the other.
